Ellerslie's Football Operations Manager Dylan Riminton is stepping into First Team coaching, as he joins Ryan Shiffman's staff for the 2025 Women's Premier League campaign.  In 2024 Dylan also led the Boy's U18 Nationals team in qualifiers, as well as the Boys U17 team in the National Tournament at Western Springs.  Dylan has also previously worked with the Women's team in our 2023 National League campaign as an analyst, and carried on his work in the female space as an assistant coach for the NRFL U16's girls team in 2024.

"Having Dylan involved as an assistant for the Women's Prem team this year will make a huge positive impact with the team.  He has a keen eye for detail, understands the motivations of the players, is dedicated to developing as a coach, and has an extremely competitive spirit.  Dylan's time with us will allow the players to receive more coaching detail across our sessions and more support with off field learnings like HUDL clips and tactical information.  We are really lucky to have Dylan involved with us in 2025 and I know he will be a positive force within the team that helps us achieve even more this season!"
Ryan Shiffman

"Having followed the team for many years now I am very excited to start contributing to the development of the players and the team as a whole in a coaching capacity. I am very grateful to Ryan and the club for the opportunity to coach at this level and look forward to working with the coaching staff."
Dylan Riminton

Dylan plans to continue to play for the Men's NRFL team alongside coaching in the Women's team and of course running the Football Operations side of the club - Dylan currently holds a NZF/OFC C-Licence.

Any players looking to play for Ellerslie in the Women's First Team or Reserves in 2025 should contact Ryan Shiffman on coaching@ellersliefootball.org.nz
