Fletcher suits up for 4th season as Mens First Team Coach

Ellerslie AFC are delighted to announce the return of Ben Fletcher to coach the Men's First Team in 2025 - his 4th season in the role.

Ben holds a NZF/OFC B-Licence and is working towards his A-Licence currently.  

We are excited to see Ben continue in a role in which he has consolidated the team into a competitive side in the Mens NRFL Championship, using his boundless energy and positive attitude to motivate and develop the players.

Our Mens First Team compete in the NRFL Championship - which is the 2nd Tier of regional football, behind the Northern League.  In 2025 there will be two promotion spots from NRFL Championship to the Northern League, additionally there will be one relegation spot from NRFL Championship to NRFL Northern Conference.

The 2025 Mens NRFL Championship will kickoff on the weekend of the 22nd of March. 

Pre-Season training/trials for the 2025 season will commence on the 20th of January 2025 - please contact Ryan Shiffman on fdm@ellersliefootball.org.nz if you wish to trial for 2025.
