Welcome everyone to the 2025 football season at Ellerslie AFC.

We look forward to another successful season providing opportunities for young and not-so-young to get out and enjoy the sport we love whether they are playing, coaching, refereeing or simply watching.

We are expecting this season to be one of stability after significant changes in the last few years. The new building is well and truly bedded in and has certainly assisted the club to provide an improved experience to many of our members. I encourage everyone to make as much use of it as possible this year.

The Club continues to grow and registrations in the early part of 2025 are ahead of last year which is a positive sign.

Our objective remains to balance the needs of our community players with those in the talent space as we look to provide everyone with a positive, enjoyable experience.

We are also working closely with the Council to get our pitches and lights at Michaels Ave along with our satellite fields in as good a shape as possible in preparation for the season kicking off in April.

I hope to see many of you around the Club this year as we look forward to another enjoyable season of football at Michaels Ave.
