There are two types of skill programmes available - one for all players and one specifically for GK's.  See below for a quick summary of the information or you can download an information pack for all the details.

Friday Skills Programme (run in terms 2, 3 and 4)

FRIDAYS 5:30 - 6:30pm (one session per week) 

The Ellerslie AFC Friday Skills Programme is open to all Ellerslie players who have a desire to become a more skilled footballer. The players will learn a variety of skills that will help them become successful footballers as they get older. It will focus on their dribbling, passing, first touch, awareness/vision, co-ordination, game understanding and drive to compete; while doing our best to ensure the players continue to develop that love for the game, which is extremely important.

This course will be run by experienced coaches who have been up-skilled to train players in these specific areas by our Director of Coaching, Ryan Shiffman.  A lot of our coaches are current or former players of Ellerslie AFC who are wanting to give back and develop the next wave of Ellerslie AFC players who are coming through!

This programme is available to players in the following age brackets

• From 6 to 12 years old

Start Date: Friday 2nd May

Finish Date: Friday 27th June

Cost: $80 (Per Term - 7 Sessions)

Term 3 2025 Details

Start Date: Friday 18th July

Finish Date: Friday 12th September

Cost: $100 (Per Term - 9 Sessions)
