Senior Women's Community
Open Women's Leagues mean there is no age limit on playing, although you will need to be at least 16 to play in these leagues
Northern Region Football run a number of open women's leagues, with those leagues typically being run across the entire Auckland region.
Ellerslie is one of the largest Senior Open Women's clubs in Auckland, with teams ranging all across the Divisions. If you are looking for a club which actively cares about you and your team you have found the right place. We provide Playing Shirts (home and away) for all teams, as well access to training gear including bibs, balls, cones, goals, nets and mannequins. Teams are also provided with a training slot on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. For home games teams will have opportunities to play on either the turf or the grass at Michaels Ave.
Ellerslie AFC have a proud tradition of working hard to help individual players find teams - we use a tried and proven Open Training format where players can attend a session and meet team managers from teams looking for players and from there we have an excellent record of placing players into teams.
