First Team Coaches for 2024 confirmed

Ellerslie AFC are excited to confirm the re-appointments of Ben Fletcher and Ryan Shiffman as First Team coaches for the Men's and Women's First Teams respectively.

Shiffman returns on the back of a very successful 2023 campaign that saw his team make the National League for the first time on the Women's side and for the first time since the 1994 Bluebird Superclub season for the club.  

This will be his 7th season as the head coach of our Women's NRFL squad and in that time he has led Ellerslie's transition from a promising women's and girls club to a established Premier League club.

Ryan currently holds a B Licence and is in the process of working towards his OFC A Licence.

The rest of Ryan's staff and more information about the 2024 Women's Premier League will be released at a later date.

Returning for his third season as head coach of our Men's NRFL squad Fletcher is looking to build on his two previous seasons where Ellerslie had solid midtable finishes, after several years of battling relegation.  Under his leadership the team has been revitalised, and with a large portion of home grown players in the team testiment to his focus on youth and home grown players.

Ben is also a B Licence holder, and has just been accepted into a OFC A Licence course.
