Ellerslie AFC have two Men's NRFL teams, our First Team who currently compete in the Lotto NRFL Championship and our Reserves who compete in Lotto NRFL Championship Reserves, a competition which is mostly Under 23 players.

Players interested in joining these teams will need to contact us on the details below to organise a trial - please do not register for these teams until you have been instructed to do so by a coach or the team manager.

Rules for these teams:

NRFL First Team

• A maximum of 5 Non-citizen players and one additional non-citizen player who holds OFC nationality
• A minimum 7% of available playing minutes across the season must be given to U20 players
• A NZF amateur player agreement must be signed by the player before they are eligible in COMET to play

NRFL Reserves

• A maximum of 5 players aged over 23 allowed to be selected in a match day squad
